Introduction

Rhinoplasty.fr site

is entirely dedicated to nasal plastic surgery; first of all, it's a professional, surgical site, but it remains understandable for the public at large, especially in the pages where I present my general æsthetic and surgical concepts (in a sense the "philosophy" for rhinoplastic surgery), but also, the pages of nose and face æsthetic anatomy and of course the examples pages. Pre-operative examination allows both the patient and the surgeon to set up a surgical planning pointing the æsthetic and functional goals as well. In this pre-operative stage, computerized morphing is presently a requisite.
Nevertheless I am sure everyone will find an interest in the surgical pages since my patients often ask me: how do you make that?

The site contains 6 main chapters:

chapter 1: "site utilities" particularly comes with a dictionary of anatomical and surgical terms (plus english-french translation) and with a bibliography (search module by keywords)

chapter 2: æsthetic anatomical study

chapter 3: surgical anatomy with a lot of photos and schemas

chapter4: "pre-operative" time, æsthetic and medical examination, surgical planning and anesthesia

chapter 5: "surgery" presents the different technical procedures with an analytic point of view

chapter 6: "exemples" makes the synthesis of the different surgical procedures to address some precise cases: deviated nose, æsthetic rhinoplasty, secondary case, nasal reconstruction...

warning!  surgical anatomy pages contain pictures from the dissecting room laboratory which could offend some sensibilities; in that case, you don't have to open them.

> I would like to apologize because the whole site is not yet translated in english; I am a french surgeon and this represents a lot of additionnal work! I try to do my best! Nevertheless you can access the french pages: I guess that anatomical and surgical pages - even in french language -are well comprehensive for surgeons. Thank you for coming back!  philippe bonnieux, md.
